Life Groups

Life Groups are our small group Bible studies for students. Life Groups meet on Sunday Mornings at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall. All of our Life Groups are using material called Known. The strategy behind Known is found in Luke 2:52 that teach us that “…Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and with people.” The Known strategy is based on this verse and the Sermon on the Mount, and is implemented through the home and the church. This teaching strategy had 3 key areas that students learn through Bible study:

       1.    Know (know Jesus)

              a.  Upward development - Jesus grew in favor with God.

                   i.  Lordship and Discipleship

       2.    Own (own your faith)

              a.  Inward development - Jesus grew in wisdom and stature.

                   i.  Character and Discernment

       3.    Known (make your faith known)

              a.  Outward development - Jesus grew in favor with man.

                   i.  Relationship and influence

Our Life Groups are lead by trained adults who love Jesus and students, many of whom are parents of students.  Here is a list of our Life Group leaders:

AXCESS

Axcess is our midweek gathering for high school students. Each Wednesday night, high school students from all over the Gwinnett county area come for a time of high-energy music, relevant Bible teaching, hilarious games, and authentic relationships. Axcess meets each Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00pm in the Fellowship Hall at North Metro Baptist Church.  Bring a friend and experience Axcess!

Each week at Axcess, we teach concepts and disciplines that are important in the lives of high school students. We package those concepts and disciplines into 3 and 4 week series. Our next series, Creating Community, begins August 17.  This series will walk through important truths about what it means for students to live life together everyday.  Students will be challenged to invest their lives in real relationships that honor Gos and build-up one another.
