Anxious – Fighting Anxiety with the Word of God by Scarlett Hiltibidal (Ladies)
We live in a broken, sad, scary place. We don’t need to watch the natural disasters and political unrest in the news to know what our bodies already know. Our bodies get sick. Our minds are fragile. The mortality rate for humans is astonishingly high. There’s plenty to worry about, and the world is full of faulty solutions for our anxieties.

But true peace comes when we learn to hold God’s Word up to what worries us. There, we learn we can’t fix ourselves; we can’t protect ourselves. Instead, the Bible tells us we can rest, knowing that Jesus walked into the broken, sad, scary places to rescue us and love us. He is the One who fixes. His is the only protection that matters.

Learn how we can practically take hold of the perfect peace that is only available through God as we dive deeply into His Word, embrace the practice of prayer, and live authentically in the support of our communities of faith.

Scarlett Hiltibidal will be the speaker at our Women’s Gathering Event on November 3rd

Full Circle Parenting (coed)
Parenting isn’t for wimps.  It's not just the routines, schedules, discipline, and heartaches—it's the hard conversations. One of the greatest challenges of parenting is navigating the crucial conversations that we must have with our kids.  Jimmy and Kristin Skroggins will give you a “conversation map” to work through any tough conversations you have with your children, and will show you how it works with the following topics and more:

  • Gender, Sexuality, and Marriage
  • Technology
  • Alcohol and Substance Abuse
  • Bitterness, Forgiveness, and Restoration
  • Friendship and Mean Kids

Questions Jesus Asked (coed)
The questions Jesus asks are after more than simple answers.  Their objective is individual spiritual transformation through, invitation, inspection, and instruction.   Reflecting the way He read and responded to the signs of the times, they will help you finish well.”
